    4. Group interview, and Roll play. (Given a task as a group and told to solve it)

    Took a long time for each process also received good feedback when i failed to receive an offer.

    online test - 8 questions each from 3 tests. The assessment consists of diagrammatic reasoning, verbal and numerical analysis tests.
    after that, it was a job related skill assessment. same skills as the online test.

    Initial application followed by two rounds of online testing through Saville Consulting (found these easier than almost every other online test I've done for a job) which was numerical, reading and abstract based. Then multi mini interviews basically speed dating over 4 stations with one question at each station. Then an assessment centre with a one on one role play with an actor and a group task. Finally reference and pre employment checks.

    Entretien

    It was a multi-mini interview. There are four separate rooms, each one with 2 interviewers. The overall interview coordinator rings a bell, you step into the room, sit down, and have 5 minutes to get asked/answer a question. You may leave at any time (you aren't expected to use the full 5 minutes). You then get a 1 minute break before going onto the next room. There are 5 candidates and 4 rooms, so one person is on a 5 minute break while the other 4 are being interviewed.

    Overall a very quick process which I found quite relaxing. I appreciated the format, however I can understand that it also makes it feel impersonal and daunting. Emphasis on using STAR to answer questions.

    Initial online psychometric test (language) followed by a secondary group of three psychometric tests (numerical, analytical, ???). Then a multi mini interview (four questions with five minutes to answer each). Was expected to use the S.T.A.R. method to answer each of the questions. Feedback after unsuccessful application I was told that two of the four answers were not formulated into STAR format well enough. Other two were answered really well.

    Contacted by an internal recruiter and invited to attend an interview. A panel of 3 people asked 6 questions related to the selection criteria. The atmosphere was relaxed and panel members made me feel comfortable. They took two weeks to let me know the outcome by email and was not given chance to get feedback. Would have preferred a phone call and the opportunity to get some feedback.

    Very different to other interviews. Very interactive and engaging. First stage involved a multi-mini interviews where you have 2 minutes with one interviewer to answer a question. You then switch to another interviewer and repeat. This process occurs 5 times.
    The second stage involved a group activity and an individual activity.

    Interview was arranged by agency (robertwalters.com.au) and I was supplied with 90% irrelevant and outdated job description and wrong address. Interview was conducted by Nikhil Sehgal and two other people in a technical manner. However interviewers failed to articulate their concerns or confirm their assumptions with me. Over the week after the interview I was advised that they've decided to give job to another candidate because in their opinion I would be "bored" (ignoring the fact that I've explicitly expressed my interest to the role). I wish they wouldn't care that much about me and their response makes me wonder if they are capable of honest communication.
