Question d'entretien d'embauche

Entretien de Program Manager(Candidat étudiant) Redmond, WA (États-Unis)

Some behavioral questions, and a lot of product questions

on Microsoft's products. You don't need to know in advance the in and outs of every Microsoft product but it helps to get a PM mindset beforehand. I prepared mostly with "Decode and Conquer: Answers to Product Management Interviews" by Lewis Lin. I found the book very helpful with lots of practice questions and template answers.

I think the key in generic questions like this is to be careful to cover the fundamentals, and to be familiar with all the followups so you're prepared for whatever they throw at you. Maybe do a mock interview with a Microsoft Program Management expert on PrepTick to get a real-world answer? They give lots of guidance and pro tips on how to deal with this kind of stuff.

Hey glassdoor community, is rooftop slushie legit? Seems like tons of people asking referrals there:

Hi!

I was recently offered a job at Microsoft and having suffered from lack of proper up-to date interview prep materials, I created an "interview preparation guide" that has all the questions I’ve been asked and more. I think it will be very useful to people who are interviewing at Microsoft for various roles.

You can buy the guide from here: https://interviewjoy.com/services/interview-process-details/microsoft-program-product-manager-interview-questions-answers-details/

The book has a lot of positive reviews/feedback already so please check out the feedback at the bottom of the page. (People are commenting that the guide made a big difference for them!).

Cheers,

Ryan
