The interview/assessment centre consisted of two stages - a group technical exercise, and a private one on one strengths based interview. The technical exercise involved working in two cooperative teams to create a website for streaming media. Each team (of around 4 people) worked in separate rooms and could only communicate via google hangouts at the end of each 60 minute stretch. The basis of the website had already been set up, using a variety of Javascript frameworks, and a MongoDB backend. Overall the exercise was fun, and involved a lot of pair programming.
