Phone: Use phone interviews to identify and recruit candidates for employment. Phone interviews are often used to narrow the pool of applicants who will be invited for in-person interviews. On site: Your interview may be a live conversation with a hiring manager, or you may be invited to participate in an on-demand interview, where you record your responses to a series of interview questions for the hiring

1. Manager call Asks about a few language specifics and puzzles. The HR was not great at scheduling. Would have been good if they would at least send a rejection rather than ghosting.
- What is a garbage collector

- just one very easy algorithm problem. some behavioral questions thats it. - meeting with the top management. this is just a formality round. - after that the recruiter will give you a very low offer.
- - string reverse thats it! they don't ask you much. might ask you a simple design problem.

I applied online. The HR coordinator called and scheduled a 30-min long technical phone interview with the team lead. They said they would get back to me in 1-2 week but it took 3 weeks. Although I thought it went well, I wasn't invited for an in-person interview.
- What is a singleton? How would you implement it in C++? Where in the memory are static variables stored?

Standard interview process. I applied online and they contacted me to schedule 2 phone interviews where they asked behavioral and technical questions. After that was an onsite interview which was 2-3 hours. Met with a manager and many other devs. Asked behavioral and technical questions. 1 whiteboarding question.
- Whiteboarding question wasn't too difficult. If you have a strong grasp on algorithms and data structures you'll be fine.

You pass up a cover letter, resume, transcript, and you are invited to their office to interview. You will meet with the HR person (for me, Victoria) and then go into interview with two devs.
- Given a linked list, output the node n nodes away from the end

Quite informal, the interviewer made it feel more like a conversation than a formal interview and made sure they weren't coming off as too intimidating. If you get a conceptual/technical question wrong or you don't know the answer, they'll be like "that's okay" and then briefly explain it to you. They asked you whether you were more comfortable with Java or C++ and ask you different conceptual questions based on what you are more familiar with. It's a plus if it's C++ (no pun intended) because most of the development is done in C++, although it's totally chill if you're more familiar in Java because there are teams that use Java. Lots of emphasis was put on your experiences working on group (3+ people) programming projects, it didn't seem like they cared at all about personal projects but more about how you work in a technical team and any experiences with conflict-resolution.
- - asked LOTS of short OOP questions (i.e. constructor, destructor, static, stack/heap, memory leaks, pointers, public/private variables, classes, etc.), some were very basic, some I couldn't answer because I had never learned about it before - reverse a string in-place - what do you know about Simba? why Simba?

First we went through my resume (previous experience + project that was most technically challenging). Second we covered basic questions on OOP. Got asked questions on Java and C++, more on Java since I was more comfortable with it. Lastly 1 white board questions. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but took around 45 overall.

Interviewer was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable, and the overall experience was positive. They asked general questions about myself based on my resume, followed by two whiteboard questions and basic terminology questions.
