    After applying, I took an online assessment. Next came a video interview where I had to record myself answering questions; the questions require STAR responses and I recommend embedding references to the company’s values and the job description in your answers. About a week later, I was contacted about scheduling an in-person interview that was to last about an hour. This interview was conducted by two people, the person who would be my supervisor and a member of a different team. I had prepared heavily for STAR questions, which I GREATLY recommend doing, but they actually only asked me about three questions that necessitated that kind of response. The bulk of their questions were tailored to specifically understanding my thoughts on transitioning to this role. I was called by a recruiter with an offer (contingent on my background check) the next day. The background check took two business days, at which point I was officially hired.

    I applied to the position on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. I was contacted on Thursday, December 19, 2019 for a phone interview with a recruiter. The phone interview was on Monday, December 23, 2019 with a recruiter (not a member of the team you will be working with). On Friday, January 3, 2020, I was informed that I was selected to move forward in the hiring process. Twenty (20) days later on Thursday, January 23, 2020, I had interview with the Indianapolis House Counsel Team.

    • First of all, I wish that the second interview would have been another phone interview. I felt as if the job description changed from being an "experienced" legal administrative assistant with three (3) or more years to someone with little to no experience. Therefore wasting my time that I took away from my current job to pursue an opportunity that looked to offer work-life balance. The job was posted as twenty-five hours per week. I'm disappointed because this company uses the STAR method to determine whether or not you qualify. This method isn't useful in a non-customer based job. You aren't able to adequately highlight your experience and skills. Also, if you are applying to a legal job, you have to realize confidentiality. Therefore you can't be too specific or you will say something confidential.   Répondre à cette question

    I was referred by a Progressive employee and immediately got an email to fill out a profile. After, I filled that out and I submitted my profile for the subrogation specialist position. 1 day later, I got email to take the pre-employment assessment. DO NOT TAKE THE ASSESSMENT LIGHTLY, but do not overthink it either (lol). After the assessment, I got an email 1 day later to take a video interview. You have 7 days to take it. I took 5 days to prep then took it on the 6th day. There was 3 typical questions and 5 behavioral based questions (STAR format). 2 days later I got an email to submit background check information which I did immediately. 6 days later I got an email to schedule an on-site interview. I scheduled mine far enough out to give me 13 days to prepare. I had my on-site interview with 2 supervisors, 1 hour each. 2 days later the recruiter called me with a job offer.

    *NOV 18TH-Email asking me to do a video interview (THIS INTERVIEW HAD TO BE DONE IN 7 DAYS. I COMPLETED IT ON THE 6TH DAY)
    *NOV 24TH-Interview video was received
    *NOV 26TH-EMAIL-One email that was sent was for a background check for HireRight. The second email was for myself to schedule a second VIDEO INTERVIEW with a Live Person. I scheduled this 2nd interview for DECEMBER 9TH.
    *DECEMBER 5TH-Was notified through HireRight that I needed to fax PAYSTUBS for current employment verification.
    *DECEMBER 9TH-2nd Interview (video)
    *DECEMBER 11TH-I received a call with an offer. And official offer letter followed immediately thereafter.
    Sidenote:ALL ANSWERS MUST BE ANSWERED IN S.T.A.R FORMAT !!!! REMEMBER TO REMAIN AS CALM AND RELAXED AS POSSIBLE! ALL YOU'RE DOING IS GIVING THIS YOUR BEST SHOT AND DON'T GIVE UP, IF YOU DON'T MAKE IT THE FIRST TIME! KEEP TRYING BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A YR AND FINALLY MADE IT THROUGH! JUST SMILE AND BE POSITIVE! GOOD LUCK GUYS BUT I KNOW YOU WILL DO GREAT!!!!

    Video interview, after already had to pass an hour long test, I had applied for a year, and always got decline... finally applied again and had to take an hour long test, passed it, then got declined.... applied for the same position again when became available, and got an "interview", video interview with 8 questions, got declined by a recruiter afterwards that lives over 1100 miles away for not focusing enough on my ACTIONS, in the STAR formatted questions... good way to evaluate potential employees. NOT.

    I applied online....they sent me test to take...just basic customer service test...then a few days later maybe a week I received a request to set up a interview but since it was work from home it was set to be a interview via video. Another week passed and performed the interview which was an hour or so long with very intense questions and situational questions...maybe a week after that they requested I start a background check....completed that then a few days later I was offered the position.

    I applied online and recieved an assessment link. A week later a video interview was requested. 3-4 days after the submitted video interview was submitted I recieved a 1 on 1 interview request at corporate office. The interview lasted about an hour and 10 minutes. You must answer in the STAR format and be as detailed as possible. The interviewer takes pages and pages of notes. The Recruiter told me they have a weekly recruiter meeting and make recommendations on the candidates and it can take 5-10 business days to hear back on the decision. My one on one was on a Monday, I heard back on that Friday. Accepted the offer, background check request was sent over as well as the official offer letter. Background Check is extensive and took about 6 days to complete. Offer letter was then resent without the contingencies!

    First must pass personality test, then participate in video interview. Insurance sales is a customer driven business. There was no human communication interaction, this was insulting and disrespectful to the candidate and customers. Since there was NO sense of sincerity.
