Went smoothly, it was also very informative as the interviewer answered all my questions energetically and overall went very well. It was virtual but everything worked out. I had a follow up in October, but the interviewer left the company so I have been following up with them every month in case something opens up.

Very unprofessional. Had two rounds, which I thought went very well. Was promised an offer and then the hiring manager went completely off the radar. My several attempts to get in touch with them were ignored. If there are going in a different direction that's fine but should have the decency to respond and let the candidate know, instead of blanking them. In all job postings, they specifically mention no ghosting, but their actions clearly show it is NOT a company to be trusted.

Email communications to schedule 30-minute interview with two senior customer success staff. Interview was conducted via Google Meet. They told me more about the company and the position, then allowed me an open-ended opportunity to talk about myself. They asked a couple of specific questions, then asked if I had any questions. I received a generic, anonymous email a few days later letting me know I wasn't moving forward.

Phone calls during the pandemic, with video interviews and meeting other executives. All interviews lasted about an hour or so with in-depth questions about skillset and coding criteria. Detailed but not horrible.

Had four very good interviews. One over the phone, the second was virtual, the third in-person and the fourth was with the CEO. The conversation seemed to flow very well during every interview. They even kept my samples and commented on how some of my work could be implemented. I was told I would hear back the very next week after my final interview. When I didn't hear back, I sent a follow-up email asking for status on the position. The Chief of Staff replied apologizing for the delay in response and said that they would be reviewing all candidates and would be following up with all later that day or the next. Well, that was it. I NEVER HEARD BACK. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and send a follow-up email a few days later asking if the position had been filled then another email weeks later asking for feedback and never received a response. I was extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism. Candidates deserve to be given feedback, at least let them know if they are not a good fit at the time and why. Not sending any type of confirmation is simply unprofessional and disrespectful.

I was contacted for a phone interview. Everything seemingly went well. I was sent the assessment for both graphic design and writer since the position was a combination of the two. I asked a clarifying question in an email about the assessment and didn't hear back from the person who interviewed me. So I worked on other parts. I didn't hear back the next day so I went ahead and submitted the assessment. The next week the job had been reposted. I get that I didn't qualify, but being ghosted like that is extremely unprofessional. Now I understand why so many other reviews on here feel like they did free work for you. Have a form email drafted and just hit send. You're not going to hurt our feelings.

Monkedia made me an offer so I countered the offer and instead of saying they didn't want to move forward they never communicated with me again. This was a waste of time and very unprofessional. From this experience, I question Monkedia's integrity and would not recommend anyone apply for open positions.

I was first contacted via email by the recruiter. We then had a video interview. A few days later I received an invitation to interview in person at the office with the recruiter and hiring manager. The office is nice and the interview started on time. Several days later, I received an email from the recruiter inviting me in for the final interview which was with the same two people as the first interview and with the CEO. The second interview was harder than the first. We started about 15 minutes late. The CEO was very difficult to read. The questions were a combination of job-related questions and personality questions.

Stage 1: Video interview over Google Hangouts. 30 min. Stage 2: Coding assignment to create a login page that allows users to access a list of clients. Stage 3: Interview with the recruiter plus members of the development team at their Las Colinas office. A small coding quiz with PHP and MySQL questions. Approx 30 min - 45 min. Correspondence: They are quick to respond to emails and are on time. Facility: The in-house interview takes place in a meeting room on the first floor. Tips: Research the company and ask yourself why do I want to work here and how do I fit in?
