It was definitely smart and straightforward!
Smart. as I had the chance to meet all the most relevant stakeholders from the team I would have worked with, for a proper assessment.
And straighforward, as all the interviews were aimed to mostly check my soft skills rather than the hard ones: you can always learn hard skills, with some training on the job for example, while the soft skills are always tricky to get!

Why did I want to join MongoDB. even if I was already part of a big brand?
Straightforward and standard on interview so just do normal practice and you’ll be fine. Product sense and analytics. The exec interviews want you to show strategy and what not. Everyone was kind and released during the interviews
I had 30 minute individual interviews with a design, product, engineering, and growth marketing lead. Each had a different case or behavioral study. I then spoke with a hiring manager, and the rest was history.

I remember the growth marketing lead asking me how I would measure the efficacy of a billboard ad.
It was straightforward, it had a couple of steps. It does take a long time so be prepared to wait. But the questions are interesting and makes you think, know the company really well, know why you want to work, know your strength and weakness
