I was contacted by a recruiter after applying online. The asked a few probing questions and set up a time for a phone interview. I booked it through their online calendar systems directly with the recruiter. I spent the weekend preparing for the interview and studying the company values, mission, etc. When the time came for the interview, I never received a call. I though I would wait due to a time zone difference mix up and see if they would call then. Never got a call. E-mail the recruiter to inquire and ask if we needed to reschedule. Received an automated message telling me how much they enjoyed getting to know me and appreciated me taking the time to interview, but they would not be moving forward. I never even talked to anyone!!! Recruiting processes like this tell me a lot about the company. The don't keep appointments, they don't follow through, they don't treat people with common decency unless they feel it will be to their own benefit.
