Long drawn out for my experience vs the position applied for. Over 4 hrs of interviews total spread over 4 interviews. In the end I was delayed notification only later to be told the company eliminated the position entirely. Absolutely bizarre and a huge waste of time.

Went through 5 interviews with the company everything seemed positive they emailed for my references. About a week later I got an email stating that they were going down a different avenue for staffing the store. When I responded to the email asking for feedback it took an additional email to area manager to get any kind of response. The staff was under the impression that I was hired on as the ASM, not the case but it damaged my reputation and put my current job in jeopardy. One of the PT staff members somehow had access to my resume and was making comments about the fact he was more qualified for the ASM position. Ethically and morally this company has something seriously wrong with their infrastructure.
Advice to the CEO and Director of stores- if you want your retail locations to be profitable and a destination to go to for clients get a better management staff on the ground, area and regional. Some of them are just playing the role not knowing the LAWS!
