Life Time's interview process was not a hard process, they just ask about your personal goals and where you see yourself in the future. They like customer service experience and passion for health.

      Entretien

Initial communication by phone with Department Head. We arranged an interview within the week. The first interview was at the gym on a Friday with the Department Head. She basically read questions off a script, never wrote anything down. I got the distinct impression this was all a formality. She was very nice but didn't seem to care very much if I would actually be good at the job or not. She invited me back at the end of the interview for a second interview with the General Manager the following Monday. She gave me a piece of paper that had the company's Vision and Mission printed on it, and also our departmental Vision and Mission. She told me to memorize these because I would probably need to know them for the second interview. The second interview was supposed to be on the Monday with the GM, but he didn't bother to show up for it (something, I learned later, was pretty standard there). Instead, I interviewed with the sales manager. The interview consisted of the following quetions: What is LifeTime Fitness' Vision? What does it mean to you? What is LifeTime Fitness' Mission? What does it mean to you? That was all. I was sent to the lobby to wait and found out that day I was hired, because I had memorized those two things. That is the sole basis upon which I was hired.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

You are required to know the company's vision and mission by heard for your second interview. If you don't know them, you *will not* get a job. Guaranteed.

It was mostly behavioral sort of questions in the interviews. There was a phone screen, then 2 interviews after that. The final interview was with the GM.

      Entretien

I applied for a position as a Team Member in Member Services. I had a total of 3 interviews - 1 with the Member Services Manager, 1 with the Member Services Assistant Manager, and 1 with the General Manager of the club. Each interview was 1-1. I wasn't shocked by any of the questions they asked. Most were normal questions focusing on my skills, schedule, and why I wanted to work at Life Time. The interviews were very repetitive, but thankfully seemed more geared to see if you would take the job position seriously. During my initial interviews, I was told that the General Manager would ask me to recite the company's mission & vision statement from memory. When I interviewed with him, this was the case. While my interviews were all 1-1, I found that most other employees at my club had group interviews to begin, with a follow up interview with the General Manager. Being that this was almost a minimum wage job ($10/hour), I was shocked at how many interviews I had to go through. In my opinion, this job wasn't anything special, but was still better than working in the food industry. It will also you allow you to add more to your resume in terms of account management, etc.
