J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Invoke (Vancouver, BC)

      Entretien

It was fairly standard procedure in terms of the steps taken, but I found my interview process to be somewhat lengthy in regards to the actual time spent talking with various key team members at each stage. I found the individuals who interviewed me to be quite transparent and open to being asked a multitude of questions. They're really looking for good fit at Invoke (hence a lot of thoroughness) - so don't be surprised if the process is a bit time consuming. My process: 1. Screening call with the Head of Talent (1 hour - a detailed background on the company is provided on this call and it's a good opportunity to have some solid back-and-forth with a lot of questions asked and answered on both sides). 2. One-on-one coffee (1 hour) with the head of the department for the position I applied for - This may have been unique and I'm not sure if it's the standard procedure with all interviews. The 'interview' was more informal but a lot of questions were asked to assess my background and experience and fit. Great opportunity to ask your potential new boss as much as you want about how they work, their process, etc. 3. Panel interview (3 hours) - 3 x 1-hour sessions (approx.) with the heads of each respective department (two department heads at a time, for a total of six department heads with whom I spoke). Each lead is here to assess fit and ask questions pertaining to their department and how you'd work with their team. It's also a chance for them to get to know you a bit if you haven't already met or spoken with them. Everyone was welcoming and it wasn't as intimidating as it sounds. This was held at the Invoke office so you can see how the employees work and get an idea of the environment, office layout, etc. My one comment for this phase of the interview was that it is a bit too long an amount of time to ask an interviewee to come in for, during a business day (especially if you are working elsewhere - it means taking half a day off). 4. A couple of calls to run through acceptance details after an offer was made (30mins). The Head of Talent made himself available to answer any questions and provided additional documents for more background. Very helpful. Overall, a solid process. From start to offer acceptance, it was almost a month. The follow-up in-between stages was quick and you were invited to ask questions at any time, if further details or clarification were required.
