After about a month I received a brief phone screen followed by an in person interview. I was led to believe that if I was offered another interview that it was essentially a formality at that point and most people who made it that far got a job offer. I'm a new graduate so I guess this was my lesson in not counting my chickens before they hatch. I was offered another interview and then was not offered a job. Upon asking why I was given a reason that was flimsy at best and then ghosted by their recruiter. The recruiter needs to be more careful about how much hope he gives potential hires since this is such an in demand place to work. Leading people to believe their job search is over and then ghosting them seems unprofessional to me.
