From the first call, the entire experience was very positive. I was not near the location I was interviewing for, so I had several phone interviews (HR, then my immediate supervisor, and lastly with the department leaders) then a face to face interview with my immediate supervisor. General Mills flew me in for the interview and put me up in a nice hotel, paid all my expenses, and gave me a rental car for the trip. With every interaction, the feeling that this company took great care of their people kept growing.
I've interviewed at several large corporations, including the one I am in before applying to General Mills, and seems like other companies handed out the duties of interviewing to someone in the department and received little to no feedback regarding your candidacy. Not here! Everyone I spoke with was well informed of the previous interview and the questions were business related and no odd ball questions. Great great experience overall.
