    They tried to ask questions I had no experience on. They scheduled the interview on the day that did not work well for me. In the interview they asked me to take a test in the programming language I had not used. They were all bookish questions. The interviewers did not introduce themselves and asked some strange questions about software specifications.

    Contacted by an in-house recruiter who set up call from a director. Instead, the call came forty minutes past the scheduled time from an engineer who asked some typical/easy questions over about a half hour. The next day I got an unscheduled call from the director who spent a half hour selling the company to me and setup an in-house interview the next day. This consisted of:
      * skills test -- multiple choice, where several questions had no correct answer listed
      * 1:1s with four or five people ranging from other programmers through another director. All of this over three hours or so.
    After this we shook hands and I was sent home. No further correspondence. I wrote a follow up email, and still nothing.

    Interviewer trying to ask questions which are not mentioned in the job description, resume. I don't know how they are selecting resume's. If the skill set what they are looking for is not mentioned in the resume, they shouldn't be calling for interview in the first place.

    Like all other interview reviews, I had a pretty bad experience. Would you like to work for a company where:

    - Director asks to come onsite for 1:1 very next day and you squeeze the interview into your schedule and when you reach there, there is no lunch (for a lunch interview), and the manager does not even care to come and talk with you.
    - After repeated queries, no one responds about the state of your interview

      The interview questions were pretty average which makes me think that they don't hire based on merit but some political fit. Another takeaway was the company is very chaotic and even if they go IPO, they will be a 1 trick pony.

    I first had to go through a HackerRank challenge that consisted of mostly knowledge based questions. Afterwards, I had a short interview with a hiring manager describing my experiences and work habits. The technical interview consisted of a pair of programming questions on HackerRank. Overall a positive experience and very helpful.

    Started off with my background and continued with 3 simple programming questions to be solved on shared hackerrank code pad.

    • Coding questions: String Compression problem, producer-consumer problem, readers-writers problem, check valid BST, improvise on the same problem with iterative tree traversal provided parent pointers in struct definition using O(1) extra space, implement strstr(), implement a simple regex matcher supporting '?' and '*' wildcards

      Other questions include OS and Networking basics, difference between TCP/UDP and when to use them, TCP flow and congestion control algorithm (how TCP reacts to a certain scenario), HTTP header contents, What is DNS and its response types, What happens when you enter a URL in web browser, mutexes and critical section, draw stack and contents of a given C program, how to efficiently serialize and deserialize a tree using a database table (basically asked me to draw the fields of the SQL table and describe the process)   Répondre à cette question

    After I applied online for a technical position, I received many mails for online assessments for various positions. After the screening, I received a call for phone interview, which was a 2 part interview. One with the hiring manager and another with a technical person. The interview was smooth, the interviewers were very friendly and after about 2 weeks I received a call telling I was selected. But there was an initial glitch about receiving the offer letter through mail, but the HR was in constant touch with me and readily available to answer all my queries.

    They post a job on Linkedin; you submit your cover letter and resume. A recruiter responds to you within hours if your experience is in a related field; however this recruiter doesn't necessarily read your letter & resume thoroughly, which is evidenced by the questions he will ask during initial screening. He then presents his findings to "the team" and indicates that you should ping him via email within 5 business days if you do not hear from him by then.
