For me, it was a three-step process. First, was the initial phone interview with someone from HR asking about my prior experiences, why I want to work for FINN Partners, and they gave me the rundown about how the position works. ( hours, compensation, etc. ) Afterwards, for the second phase, I met with the managers that I would be working under. Once again asking about my prior experiences in PR and digital marketing. They also gave me some insight into their background. Finally, for the third phase, there was a writing test. I was able to submit prior writing samples but the requirement may be different for each office. I'm in the Midwest. Overall, it was a great experience. Also, questions are welcomed in all three stages.

This was only an informational interview. I had a representative reach out to me on Linkedin and we set up an interview. I got a call from someone in the HR department at Finn Partners. I was asked to describe a bit about myself and where I want to go. I was told a lot about company culture. And there were a few questions. I decided not to move forward in the interview process. They only pay $31,200 per year, in D.C. As a college graduate with two years of experience, I understand that I am not going to get $60,000+, but I know I am worth more than that.
