    The initial process included a Phone screen. Questions were asked on awareness of F5 and what products they develop. Some questions were relevant to management / leadership aspects - what is your leadership style. This also included questions on background and interest, followed by onsite with technical and management leaders.

    Interviewer asked questions mainly on technologies I was not familiar with. I told him that I didn't know those technologies, but he still proceeded with the questions, which makes me think he had a set list of questions and wasn't prepared to alter the interview based on the applicant.

    Drilled a lot on projects and why this is how things were, was a pretty serious guy and never smiled not even when he entered the room.

    I've applied online and heard back within 2 weeks telling me that they would like to schedule a 45 minutes phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I've been invited to onsite and had two onsite rounds and one written coding test. I can't tell the questions because of NDA but I could say overall they've tried to touch every area that you might know.

    It seemed like they were interested in what you know and how you think. They never say enough, as soon as you keep talking and solving the problem, trying to figure out how much you know. I've had two proper coding questions on board and one data structure design question for a given problem and two open ended problem solving and past experience related questions. There were also behavioral questions.

    At the end of the second round, the recruiter came and said they wanted to move on and give an offer on the spot. I was caught off guard but was happy that the process was faster. The whole process (two rounds and offer, excluding the time between phone and on sites) took a week.

    I was able to negotiate as I had several other offers but the package offered was good and competitive. It had a slight edge.

    It took about three weeks and the person interview me is very nice. The first interview is basically about your resume and the second interview is a code problem. They would also want to see your code style

    I applied in mid December 2016. And I was contacted by f5 recruiter in Mid January 2017. Recruiter setup interview with a Software Engineer. The interview lasted for about 20 - 30 minutes. I was asked to write a simple C program on collabedit.
    At the end of the interview, the interviewer gave me a positive feedback. He said I should expect to be called for on-site interview. After a couple of days, recruiter reaches out to me and asked me for my availability for on-site interview. After I sent him days/times, he replied saying that he made a mistake in his previous email and that he has not received a final decision yet for my interview from the hiring manager. It could be a genuine mistake but, imagine how you would feel to be told it was a mistake after you rescheduled other interviews for this one. I emailed the recruiter a few times and he told me there is no update. Then in late March 2017 I received a generic rejection email.

    Contacted by recruiter, the interview process was well organized at the beginning. I completed an online assessment. Got follow up hiring manager interview. The feedback was good. I though I'm able to fly to onsite.

    After that, it became so bad organized, I didn't get any schedule info, they suddenly called me when I was outside saying that we have more tech questions to ask you and I need a computer. I thought the next might be coding round, so I made the schedule. On that interview day, the dirty thing is, they didn't ask me to do any coding test except for keeping asking me the exact same questions which already being ask by the hiring manager in the previous round.

    I was quite confused why other interviewers didn't make good coordination with their hiring manager. Keeping asking same questions to waste my time.

    2 rounds of phone interview, 1 onsite include 4 different person. Onsite also has some questions in paper given 30min to solve. Technical quesitons including white board coding and system design. Office is good.
