    2 rounds: 1 coding and another with VP of the company. Easy interview. But lots of analytical tools asked. Focuses more on past exp. Be confident. Read your resume properly and prepare it well. The company has really good projects and experience is pretty good.

      Round 1: Technical interview for 30 min. Interviewer asked about several topics related to data science. The first topic was about convex optimization which I had listed as relevant coursework on my resume. Other topics included linear regression, linear separability, and imbalanced data. I was able to answer the majority of the questions. After 30 minutes, the interviewer asked if I would like to continue to which I responded yes. We continued for another 30 minutes for a total of 1 hour. Recruiter replied within 1 business day that I had passed.

      Round 2: ML coding interview for 90 min. I was given a time series dataset to predict disaster scenarios and instructed to code a solution on my local machine and share my screen. I had no experience or familiarity with any time series algorithms or imbalanced data classification problems so I found the problem difficult to do within 90 min. Recruiter replied within 1 business day that the interview did not go well.

      Please make sure you have other options available before applying. I was left with no Job offer after 40+ days of interview and discussion process in which they had told me I was selected. Don't assume anything make sure that you take everything in a written email rather than putting trust on them.
      I left them this message with no reply

      Let me walk you through my journey of pain and disappointment. I spent 40 days which includes 1 online test and 4 interview process which started on 19th August and the final interview completion on 11th Sep, The outcome of the interview was positive and the recommendation was to hire, but I was informed that they can only move forward with my application and compensation process only when they got approval from Hiring Manager.

      On 17th Sep, I was informed that I have got the approval from Hiring Manager and hence needed to submit all the documents which included very confidential information like monthly payslip for a whole year, my bank statements, a lot of personal information in the company CIS form for background checks and even my offer letter for the company that I currently hold an offer on. You should understand that I agreed to share all this information as I was told that approval has been done and they were having a discussion on compensation for the job. Now on 25th Sep(nearly 40 days) when they took all this information and I was told that they are discussing with the company for the compensation what they are offering me, On the day I was supposed to receive the offer letter, I get a message that my application has been rejected. With just a text message, and when I tried to call they won't even pick my call to respond in any professional manner to how this can happen.

      Regarding this stage and compensation, On the first conversation with HR before the interview process started, I was asked my expected pay and I informed my expectations. I never asked for more. I even asked them to offer me the best offer they have. To which I was informed that the Hiring Manager now has a problem now with your stage-4 something.

      And if there was no requirement for the stage-4 engineer, Are you telling me I wasted so many days, energy and time studying and preparing and giving interviews for a job that never existed from the first place?

      - 1 Hour online test (2 coding + 10 MCQs)
      - 1st Exploratory round with Hiring Manager (general interview not much technical. Seemed like they have not achieved outcomes in any of their projects done in last 2 years)
      - 2nd round with Data Scientist in Bangalore - the interviewer had just too much spare time. Made me write all kinds of code in python, questions from ML, DL, everything possible. 1 hour scheduled interview extended for 2+ hours and he still wanted to continue :(
      - 3rd round with Principal DS - focused on stats and algorithms
      - 4th round - junior DS guy - again coding + DL algos

      Multiple coding rounds also could not satisfy them. Do not know what they are really looking for when they are interviewing its all random and anything can be asked. Complete waste of time :)

      I applied for Ericsson's GAIA (Global Artificial Intelligence Accelerator) in Sweden. The first round was a hackerrank exam (I guess around 70 mins). You had 2 easy coding probems, 3 SQL queries to write, and 10 ML MCQ. This was to filter some candidates out. After that, I did an interview with a data scientist in Sweden. It was not that easy but I managed to do well. Brush up on your probability and statistics courses! I was also asked some ML questions projects I was working with, and to code an ML algorithm. I passed this stage and then had to do another technical interview with a data scientist from India. The interview went well. Then, I did an interview with the head of the data science team in Sweden. It was not technical. He was just explaining to me what the team actually does. My file suddenly got transferred to Montreal as the team there needs more data scientists. I had to do an hour-long technical interview with ML questions. I managed to do well and get the position.
