I got a first stage interview relatively quickly after applying for the role. The interview itself went very well, it felt more like a relaxed conversation and they gave me the opportunity to ask questions at any point. I was told that I would be notified within a week whether or not I'd gotten through to the next round. However, it has been over a month since my initial interview and I am yet to receive any email or phone call despite sending a polite follow-up email a few weeks ago too.

Applied online, got an email from the recruiting secretary the next day and had to answer some preliminary questions. Then was told I was in the second pool of candidates but still was invited for an interview with 3 hiring managers. Standard interview with questions mostly read from a paper. Took over an hour. Got a call from the hiring manager a week later and was told I was overqualified and they hired someone with less experience who 'fit the team culture better'.
