    I went through a phone screening, then a single behavioral interview, followed by a single technical interview. Overall, the process kept me pretty well informed and I had a good idea of my standing and what to expect.

    • Typical behavioral stuff, and there were 2 technical questions. The first one was a simple classic, the FzzBuzz problem. Second one was to make a function that would take in a list of strings and one long string, then tell you if you could make the long string from the list of strings (like a ransom note from a magazine).   Répondre à cette question

    When I applied for this position on October, it was located in Los Angeles, not in Texas as they said in their rejection email, which was sent December.

    But most importantly, how come my application arrived BEFORE they hired someone? If they hired someone, why did not remove the posting? So unprofessional.

    Emailed by recruiter, scheduled an interview the following week. Met with interviewer for an hour. 15 minutes of getting to know, rest of the time on coding challenge. A bit impersonal, but decent experience overall. Good company impression and environment based on the interview. To schedule, they also sent me an invitation to their online portal with all of my interview's information/preparation.

    TLDR: Make sure to keep your options open even if you make it to the final stage of interviews. They could always fill the spot with an internal person.

    I got to the point where I did a full day of interviews with an executive, several people from different teams, and lunch with the hiring manager. Everyone was very nice and professional and even after speaking with the executive, they offered to answer any of my questions post-interview, which sounded promising. Ultimately they went with an internal person. Just keep your feet on the ground while interviewing even if they make it seem like you're a shoe-in. It was an insightful process but keep in mind they always have someone in the wings. This is great news if you're already in there but not so great when you're trying to get in. Keep in mind the whole process (including constant back and forth/rescheduling with the recruiter) was about 10-12 weeks. Do not hold your breath but enjoy the process if the opportunity presents itself.

    I applied online through their job board. About a week or two later, I received an email from one of EA’s associate recruiters. We set up a simple phone interview, which went well. I was then asked to do a design test, (as is unfortunately common in the design industry.) The test was reasonably clear, and communication was open and friendly with the staff as I worked on it. That being said, I did not appreciate that the team asked for a design that could easily be used by the company later, (the test was work that the team creates regularly.) They also required the full PSD source files of my work. Many places may ask for a design test, but they ask for something that is obviously not going to be used by the company, and/or they only ask for a low-res file that can't really be used. To be asked to create something that they could easily use was uncomfortable enough; But then to also be asked to hand over the source files, the experience felt very ethically wrong. As a fresh designer in the industry, I was uncomfortable with the request, but overlooked it because I was excited at the possibility of working with the company. Looking back, I wish I would have requested either a project less directly related to the job or simply to plan a screen-share interview to show the file’s organization, rather than just hand them over my hours of work, having only to hope they don't steal my efforts.

    Entire process took about a month with an initial HR screen, hiring manager interview, final interview with 4 members of the team.

    Overall the process was smooth and the team was very nice to talk to...mix of behavioral questions and get to know you questions. The team felt like they really wanted to get to know you and your experience. Made the process feel more like a conversation than an interview which I appreciated. Entire process was done virtually.

    Only downside is that HR will Ghost you! As others before me have mentioned, I was ghosted after my final round of interviews. I asked for an update a week after my final interview and got the "We are still interviewing other candidates" response and they would get back to me once a decision was made, but they never did.

    Applied online and was reached out to by the recruiter in a week or 2. This was one of the best recruiters I've ever interacted with. She gave me an overview of the team and the position and set up an interview with the hiring manager next week.
    The video interview with the HM was mostly behavioral with a bit of technical deep dive and it went amazing.
    Unfortunately, they had to pause the position apparently for some 'business process' and they didn't know when it will open up again. That's not very professional of them, but anyway, the people I interacted with were very polite, wish this had worked out.

    Interviewed with recruiter, then team member peer, then department Director, then Head of Department, then VP of business unit. All of the interviews were 1 hour, except with the VP for 30 minutes. Each interviewer started with their own background and experience at the company, then asked for an overview of my background, then specific questions about my expertise. They allowed about 10-15 minutes for my questions at the end.
