J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ebco (Elgin, IL)
Entretien
I submit my resume to our university job board and was contacted the next day by email by the owner of the company the next day to schedule a phone or on site interview. Because I was in the area, I decided to go on site for an interview 2 days later. When I got there, I was offered any hot beverage (it was an extremely cold day) but said no. I spoke with the hiring manager for a bit and learned about the company background and culture. I was then taken on a tour of the facility, which is very big and a casual setting. After that, I spoke with two mechanical engineers and learned about their work. It was very casual and relaxed -- no interview questions were asked and they asked me about my interests and it was a good conversation. They offered me coffee or tea again because of how cold the conference room was. I then was given 30 minutes, a ruler, calipers, and a part to model and assemble on their CAD software. The entire process was enjoyable and a few days later I received an offer by email.
