    Entretien

    Nice but difficulty process. They do not require a written test or a online challenge, everything is done by interview with the current employees. Demands a lot of technical knowledge, but the process itself is fair and taught me a lot of things.

    Daitan uses to apply a pretty heavily tech interview, trying to measure all your knowledge, for only them, deciding if you suits any internal job. The stands of the company is pretty high for the region we are working with, so if you might to get approved, you can consider yourself one of the verybests developers in Brazil.

    • Almost all of the questions are to cover your techinical knowledge. The questions are like:

      - What is the difference in between ArrayList and LinkedList in Java? When you should use each of them and why?

      - Could you specify to me what are the programming paradigms that apply to the <put the target job programming language here>?

    There was a test at my university, with questions that you should select the answers and at the end you had to write a small algorithm to solve one problem. The algorithm part wasn't hard, although some people got different problems that weren't at the same level.

    After that I was invited to an interview at the company's office and they talked about OOP, design patterns and things about classes at the university.

    • Some of the problems that you had to write an algorithm were more difficult than the others which is unfair, because everyone gets a different problem, so some people will get easier problems.   Répondre à cette question

    The interview wasn't very professional.
    A couple of questions not related to the position, and little respect for the candidate were the worst. Besides that some questions related and that was all.
    For a whole month I waited for the interview, and after that more months for the results that were never given.

    The interview was obtained through the Talento Fair at Campinas, SP. There I left name, e-mail and cellphone contacts in a list. The contact for interview happened about one month later, through e-mail, already scheduling for interview in the same week.
    The interview consisted of a written test in English with 2 long questions, one regarding programming and the other to system's probing.
    After the written test, there were 2 interviews, one with a Software Developer and the other by the Founder and Chief Recruiting Officer of the company. Both interviews were about knowing more about my capabilities, what I was learning at the university and my expectations for the job and what would I like to do inside the company.
    The whole process lasted about 4 hours, in an afternoon.

    • An example of a simple game, a bit like a Ludo game, where there were I think 64 spaces which separated the initial and final "houses". The players, in turns, should throw a dice and the number on it would indicate how many spaces they should go forward. But, some of those spaces were traps, that made the peon of the player go back some spaces if landed upon.

    • An image of a cellphone telecom system was shown, with 3 parts: the device, the central office and the database.

    Négociation

    About 3 weeks after the interview, I got a phone call from the HR Manager telling me I was approved. The negotiation was pretty quick and straightforward.

    The first phone interview covered general aspects of the interviewee professional life, possibly in order to trace a preliminary professional profile for the upcoming techinical interview.
    The second phone interview was a techinical one touching many technincal aspects related to the open position which can extract from the interviewee as much information as possible about his/er technical background in the given position context.
    The third interview was more a negotiation and commitment interview.

    Nothing special. I provided my expectations and the negotiation went out pretty quick not decreasing too much of my initial expectation.

    Fui contatado pelo RH da empresa para uma oportunidade e agendamos um primeiro bate-papo.
    A primeira etapa foi realizada sem problemas, dentro do dia e horário combinados.
    A recruiter muito simpática e solícita, informou quais seriam os próximos passos e disse que independente de seguir ou não para a etapa seguinte, me retornaria dentro de 7 dias com um feedback e, em caso de qualquer dúvida, que não hesitasse em entrar em contato por WhatsApp.

    Passados pouco mais de 7 dias e sem receber um retorno, entrei em contato por WhatsApp com a recrutadora pedindo informações se o processo ainda estava em curso e se meu perfil ainda estaria sendo considerado. Sem resposta.

    Alguns dias depois, mandei uma nova mensagem por WhatsApp (uma saudação), a qual foi respondida por outra saudação. Aproveitei e refiz novamente a pergunta para a recrutadora, que simplesmente ignorou e não respondeu a mensagem.

    Já faz mais de 3 semanas e infelizmente não recebi nenhum retorno como prometido.

    Uma empresa que se posiciona como tendo um de seus principais valores a relação pessoal, e que na sua primeira impressão já mostra uma enorme desalinhamento entre palavras e ações.

Perguntou meu nível de fluência em inglês. Em seguida conversamos um pouco em inglês. Depois falou algumas exigências práticas da vaga e me perguntou se eu estava disponível e se teria interesse em continuar no processo.

    Contato via LinkedIn, a recrutadora me ligou para agendar uma ligação, achei um pouco estranho, mas tudo bem.

    Conversa objetiva, cerca de 25m de ligação, as perguntas de sempre, teste de fluência em inglês, nada demais.

    Apesar de preencher todos os requisitos da vaga, dia seguinte recebi um feedback negativo, faz parte, pelo menos o processo foi bem objetivo, a recrutadora atenciosa e deram um feedback rápido.
