The interview process for the Consultant role at Capco consisted of five structured rounds over a span of three weeks.
Round 1: An initial HR discussion focused on understanding my background, career aspirations, and overall alignment with Capco’s culture and values.
Rounds 2 & 3: These were conducted by Principal Consultants and were primarily role-specific, assessing my domain expertise, problem-solving approach, and how well I aligned with the expectations of the consulting role.
Round 4: A conversation with the Executive Director centered around my current professional status, expectations from the role, long-term career goals, and mutual fit.
Round 5: The final round was a client interaction to discuss the specific projects I would be involved in. It was intended to gauge whether my experience and skill set matched the project requirements and client expectations.
The entire process was seamless and well-coordinated. Within three days of the final round, I received the offer letter, marking a quick and efficient closure to the recruitment cycle.

Positive
My interview process with Capco was one of the most welcoming and respectful experiences I’ve had in consulting. Every person I met was friendly, genuine, and intentional about creating a comfortable environment. There were no “gotcha” or trick questions — the conversations were straightforward, fair, and focused on understanding my experience.
I appreciated that they gave me time to think, ask for clarity, and speak openly without feeling judged. There was no sense of elitism or ego from anyone on the panel. Compared to other firms I’ve interviewed with, Capco’s culture felt noticeably more positive and grounded.
I left the interview feeling respected, valued, and confident that my background and experiences were truly appreciated.

Interview process was fairly smooth, mostly verbal questions and no live coding/coding exercises. Overall a nice experience.
Some issues after accepting the offer however, they then took 3 weeks to get back in contact with me. The response was that the role was no longer needed and i may get hired as a "culpability" role. Within 24 hours this was then changed to their is a role after all. This part was rather stressful.
