Can you tell me about a time when you had to work through a difficult problem in a collaborative environment?

Note: In each interview, the personal experience section usually lasted between 20-25 minutes. Every single time, it involved a series of small introductory questions, followed by a larger question, like the one above, that took about 10-15 minutes to answer.
