In one day, I had multiple, hour-long interview panels. It was exhausting to be "on" for half the day with different sets of people. Some of the same questions were asked in different interview sessions. Everyone I interviewed with was friendly and kind.
Once I made it through the interview process, Barr offered me a position. I was excited and honored to be offered the role. However, they had an unexpected stipulation. They required that I sign a contract stating I would only work in a certain department for X years. After X years, I could work for other departments. It was confusing because during the interview process everyone lauded the flat work environment. I asked that they remove or alter the contract but we could not come to an agreement. Also, even after negotiating the salary it came at the low-end of market value for both the position and my skill set/degrees.
