I heard about BGIS from a previous co-worker who worked there and said it was a great company, so I decided to apply for an available Critical Facilities Engineer position via Glassdoor. I received a message the next day from one of their GCET Senior Program Managers wanting to set up a video interview. Within the next few days, I had the video interview where I was asked a few technical and open-ended questions, and it went well. He was very friendly, professional, and made it clear he was highly interested in hiring me. I received a job offer 10 days later, and I accepted a revised offer.

Entretien

Very informal, one on one process with hiring manager. Basically asked for # of years experience and description of job activities from previous employer. Hiring was pretty fast, less than 2 weeks pending drug test and background check results.

Fairly straight forward interview process. One phone interview, one in-person interview. Background check and drug screen. From 1st contact to 1st day of employment was about 4 weeks.

Hardly 4 Minutes Interview. Job was Posted Thursday at 3 Pm, I applied at 4 Pm and received am email at 6 pm that you have an interview tomorrow(Friday 12 noon) and at 2 pm (on Friday)after interview I received an Email stating that they are proceeding with another candidate.
It was just a formality that they have to proceed.
Interviewer was Unprofessional, rude, Didn't allow me to speak she just throws questions on and on.

The whole process was friendly. Although I feel nervous when the interviewers look at each other to exchange sights. But I would say overall it was friendly and relax. People there are nice and smart.

Interviewed over the phone. Quite casual and welcoming. They explained a lot about the position. After about half an hour we discussed my future at the company and opportunities within the position. They want people to continue working there

I had just two interviews. One by phone with the Talent Acquisition Associate of 10-15min, and then one by Skype-conference of 30-45min with the Energy & Sustainability Manager and the Technical Manager.

The interview process was pretty standard and quick. Initial phone screen and then a video interview with the hiring manager.
I found that the hiring manager was disrespectful during the interview. They thought that I had misspelled my company name on my CV, and their phone kept going off during the interview. It's just a common courtesy to put your phone on silent while in an interview/meeting. I was not too impressed.

Overall great interview process from start to finish. BGIS was transparent throughout the entire process. Initial phone screen with recruiter followed by interview with hiring manager, followed by final interview with executive team members. BGIS provides a letter of intent before background screening commences. Background screening includes reference check via third party organization as well as extensive government screening (finger printing, etc...). Once complete, offer letter is received.
