Applied online, and got a phone interview, questions were fairly easy/typical interview fare. Several questions about technical subjects were asked but nothing too in depth. Also asked questions about practical experience I had with coding.

    The first interview is very basic get to you know you with your recruiter. Super nice and was great at answering all of my questions.

    The second interview was with a consultant who was set to interview me and it involves knowing your projects and knowing your technical skills.

    The third and final interview is on site with other candidates but don't worry it's not a competitive interview with everyone else there. They provided food and did a great job selling the company to us. Then came the two 1 on 1 interviews. One behavorial and one technical with a whiteboard question, the whiteboard question is more or less a way for the interviewer to see how you think through a question. Do not be afraid to admit you don't know what to do next.

    Most importantly don't overstress yourself because they are looking for people who are willing to learn not get every answer right. Plus you made it this far make sure to enjoy it.

    Overall, the interview process was very pleasurable. It started with a 45 min phone screening with a recruiter--this was just to learn about my previous experience and whether I would be a good fit for the position. The recruiter was very informative and had my best interest in mind. The second "interview" was also over the phone, but with a Senior Software Engineer--I had the chance to lead the interview and ask about work culture, his experience, etc. In the last 15 mins, I was also asked behavioral questions although I was told this portion of the interview would be technical. The final round was an in-person interview which lasted for an hour.

    The overall interview process that I underwent was over the phone. The first interview was a phone screen where the recruiter that is assigned to you just asks normal interview questions in order to get to know you, this screen can last anywhere from 30minutes to an hour. This is typically nothing to worry about just be prepared to talk about your experience and why you want the position. Be sure to express your passion for technology. The second interview was with a Software Engineer at Avanade where I "lead the interview". This consisted of anywhere between a 15-45minute phone call where I asked all the questions I wanted in order to get a better picture of what Avanade is really like. At the end of the this interview my interviewer asked me two non-technical questions.

    I'm currently awaiting to see if I moved onto the next round. My recruiter hasn't been the best communicator from the beginning. Once I got an email saying I was picked for an interview it took the recruiter two weeks to finally get back to me. For the second interview the process went a lot quicker since I was passed off to a technical recruiter. However, for the 3rd interview (if I made it) it's taking about as long as the first interview... if not longer.

    The overall process went well although they did take a few weeks in between each interview which was nerve racking. But the company looked great and the position itself appeared to be tailor made for what I wanted to do as a career in Tech.

    Being that I live on the East Coast I was contacted by one recruiter who worked for a recruiting company that is partnered with Avanade. After I completed and passed a behavioral interview with him, he then directed me towards another recruiter who actually worked for the company in which she contacted me weeks later. By this time I am already interviewing with other companies with a few offers but they were not paying much so I proceeded to wait.

    She called me about 3 weeks later to schedule a technical interview and a final Skype interview 2 weeks after that. Fortunately enough it took 2-3 days for them to make a final decision. Now for the actual interviews.

    So I went through 4 different types of interviews throughout this process. First a behavioral interview which was not difficult whatsoever, second was a interview with a engineer in the headquarters office in Seattle. I led the entire interview (asked her questions about the company etc.) she was very cool. Third interview was with the head software engineering director of the West Coast this was supposed to be a technical interview (which I prepared for.) but he recently got off vacation and asked questions more about why do I want to work in consulting etc. nothing to difficult. Final interview was via Skype with the hiring manager at the LA office where I would be working. Another neutral interview asked me about technology and explain my passion for it, projects etc. Overall a very great experience. Make sure you are prepared for each interview because you never know what types of questions they might ask. Also, make sure you review each interviewers LinkedIn profile before the actual interview it HELPS. I hope this review helps. Cheers.

    First I had a phone screen, she asked me some basic questions (tell me about yourself, what role do you take on in a team?) she was really nice and I did well. She also told me a little info about the company and if I would be ok with traveling every week. Second interview was with a software Engineer that already works there. It was suppose to be a technical interview and then i get to lead the interview by asking questions about anything I wanted to know about the company. He didn’t ask me any questions. Turns out, i just asked questions and he answered. Right now I’m just waiting to see if i moved to the next round or not. It’s been three days and i haven’t heard from them yet. And it’s been nerve wrecking. I hope i get it!

    I applied online and received a phone screen with an HR. He explained the position and asked me questions about my resume and what I know in terms of technical experience. He was very nice. A few weeks after I received next round. This round was supposed to be me leading the interview, but instead it turned into the consultant asking questions of whether I know source control, SDLC, agile/scrum, etc. He also asked me situational questions. Within the same week, I received the invitation to final round in person interview. I expected this to be a behavioural interview, but it was all technical experience. 2 days after they told me I didn't get it. HR gave me feedback afterwards, so I definitely appreciated that.
