I spent three hours interviewing for the position: computerized Excel and Word tests, IQ-type test., and interviews with HR director and section head. The company was very impressed with my qualifications, and the HR director thought that I would be a good fit for the company. I was very encouraged by the interview. I was told that one other person would be interviewed that week then a decision would be made. As I was leaving the interview, I was told to call or e-mail with any questions I had. The next week I sent two e-mails and left a voice message to inquire about the hiring status. My messages were never returned. I heard nothing until I received a rejection notice by e-mail four weeks after the interview.
