      Entretien pour Marketing

      18 mai 2017
      Employé (anonyme)
      San Francisco, CA
      Offre acceptée
      Expérience positive
      Entretien difficile

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Asana (San Francisco, CA) en avr. 2017

      Entretien

This was the most thorough interview process I've ever been through! Even though this is just an intern position, I could tell that the team really wanted to make sure that they had the right candidate. Talent Acquisition was very responsive and incredibly kind. -Phone screening: 30 minutes long, general questions about my background -Phone interview with manager: about an hour long, in-depth questions about my experience, "tell me about a time when..." etc. -on-site interview: 3 hours in total, broken down into 3 separate 30 minute interviews with different members of the marketing team, a 30 minute product demo, and a 30 minute lunch with 2 other team members. This process was very fun, but by the end of it I was burnt out and didn't do so well in my last two interviews. -writing challenge: I was given a few days to write a blog post and then a 2,000 word piece on a random topic. -follow-up phone calls and then a reference check. They asked my reference questions about how I've improved, how well I worked with others, etc. -then an offer! This whole process took a bit longer than I expected, but overall it was a great experience. Every team member I've had contact with was very respectful of my time.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Asana (Londres, Angleterre) en sept. 2023

      Entretien

I did two rounds of an interview and then was invited for a third, and then told they had other candidates they wanted to move forward with instead. I wish they had not gotten my hopes up about another interview. Overall, the interview was fairly standard, asking for feedback about how I had approached product marketing previously and about my experiences at other companies.

Multiple steps with a mix of HM and functional stakeholders. The first step was a call with the recruiter, followed by the HM, and 4 different 1:1s with stakeholders. Then a final chat with the HM.

      Entretien

The interview was smooth and focused primarily on my previous experiences and skills in organization and data analysis. The recruiter started by asking about my professional background, so I shared my experience in content creation, feedback analysis, and campaign optimization. She seemed very interested in how I approach problem-solving and manage multiple tasks efficiently. We also discussed the company's expectations for the role, especially my ability to work independently in a remote setting. I highlighted my attention to detail and my experience using project management tools, which I think aligned well with the responsibilities. Overall, it was a positive conversation, and I felt that my background and skills matched their needs.
