J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien à Argen en avril 2019.

    Entretien

Had a phone call with HR to schedule an on site interview.
Never received a follow up call or email after the interview even though I followed up myself, expressed my interest and asked for a feedback. The HR intern who initiated the interview definitely does not have good manners. A feedback would have been appreciated......

Well, first HR and two people we're missing whom we're supposed to interview me. Then I wait in break room because there is no lobby. When I walked outside there cleary is one. Walking inside to inside door there's a hole looks as if someone punched the wall 😂.

    Entretien

I applied on line and a couple of weeks later I was called in for an interview.

I arrived a little early and waited then I walked around to the entrance and they allowed me to go wait in the break room. It turned out to be a panel interview of sorts’ fairley routine questions and I also had a few questions that were answered. What I really liked was no mention of salary by either of us as I believe that should come up later in the process. They gave me a firm date they would let me know one way or another which they did.

Given the right position I would consider again.

Very strange process. If I recall correctly, I had applied to Argen in December and received an invitation for a phone interview in March. I thought that was odd but I moved forward and scheduled a time with the hiring manager. Although she called 20 minutes late, the interview was also very peculiar because she was interviewing me for a senior level position that I didn't even apply for. When I said "I only applied for the regular marketing coordinator," she responded with "yeah, we're hiring for that, too. Oooooook. Never heard back from them and that's probably for the best.

    Entretien

The single worst interview I have ever participated in. I got a phone call from the recruiter, whom was very pleasant and nice, saying that they wanted to bring me in for an interview. I found that odd because every single management position I've applied for has had a screening process with at least an HR person and usually the hiring manager and/or Director of the department. That did not happen. They just said they wanted to bring me in. I was told I was going to interview with the HR VP and the Director of the department I would be working in.

I had already had some concerns about the company because of the things that were written in Glassdoor by the employees, but I also do understand that even the best of companies have disgruntled employees. As a result I went in with an open mind and wanted to address this at the interview just to allay my fears and hope they weren't true. It took me about 2 seconds inside the complex to understand there were some very unhappy people here. People were looking down, not smiling, and especially not friendly in the least bit. Still, I kept an open mind. Maybe this position was one where they needed new blood to help change he culture. I was very open to that kind of position if that were the case. I love those types of jobs where there's a serious attempt to change the attitude. I'm all about achieving something very cool like that.

Well....unfortunately that was dashed about a half hour later. I did meet with the HR VP for about a half hour, but did not get to meet the Director. I was told he was busy in a meeting. Regardless of what the reasoning is. Maybe they didn't like me. That's plausible. I had hoped that wasn't the case, as I believe they had good reactions to my answers. At the end of the interview, they shook my hand and told me they'll be in contact. I was confused. Was there going to be a meeting with the Director? Apparently NO! How weird was that? They bring me in, tell me I'm going to meet with the Director, but then herd me out the door. Now, again, if I was THAT bad, then I'll take that, but be honest with me. I'm a hiring manager and even if the interviews bomb, I still go through with the process because you have to respect the process. There is no process here. I guess I never had a chance.

Back to the attitude inside the complex. I was told to wait in the break room which was around the corner from the filthy dirty entrance to the building. The break room was dingy and dirty. Everyone was eating with their head down and NOBODY came up to introduce themselves to me. It was obvious why I was there. I was the only one with a suit! Not only was the break room not clean or maintained but it was obvious those folks did not want to be there. As I was pulling out of the parking area, a couple of cars cut me off going into the complex and did not allow me to come out despite the fact I was halfway out of my stall. Rude people!!

Finally, I had decided at that time I did not want to proceed any further. I sent a gracious letter to the Recruiter and said explicitly that I had appreciated their time and hospitality, but that I felt the position and the company was not a good fit for me and wished them luck in their pursuit. I received no response whatsoever. I've been on interviews where it became obvious to me that it was not a good fit and I've sent the same type of e-mail back and ALWAYS I had received an e-mail back. That tells me a lot about the professionalism and attitude of this place. Simply terrible. I had to tell everyone I know about this experience. It was weird, to be kind. Unprofessional is more accurate. If you are a serious candidate, this is not a place to be a manager. If you are desperate, go for it. Otherwise, count your blessings!!

There were several phone interviews, followed by numerous in person interviews. One VP said she knew the questions were illegal, but she didn't care. Then she asked the questions.
The CFO said it's OK to cheat, because the objective is to win.
After that experience, I question their overall integrity.

I was asked where did I see myself in five years with the company. I replied with a hope of being part of upper to mid management. They said that definitely doable. Been here 3.5 years now, and still in the same position with no sign of upward mobility. Straight up lied to me.

30 minute phone interview with Sr Buyer about your experience and past positions. A lot of questioning of your skills and salary expectations. Nice guy, not intimidating. Not so difficult but long.
