Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Apple (Cupertino, CA) en oct. 2011
Entretien
This was by far the most lengthly and tiring interview ever. There were two phone interviews which lasted for 30 minutes each. After which, I was invited to the Cupertino facility to interview. The arrangements were pretty good. Apple takes care of the flight, car and hotel so your out of pocket expenses are very litte. The actual interview was very very tiresome.
I was interviewed by 14 (yes - in one day) employees. Each for 30 minutes. There employees included some at the peer level and some at the supervisory level. Most of the interviews were pretty technical with some focusing on core problem solving and some actually getting into theoretical physics (Solve this circult diagram based on Ohms law). The one thing that struck me as negative was that atleast 5 employees spoke negatively of the company and complained about the lack of work/life balance.
All in all, this was a negative experience for me since I didnt get the job, but every time I followed up with HR, they said that "everybody loves you!". Six months and still waiting.
If there are 500 washers that have been rejected by the test lab, can you tell me how you would go about determining the root cause and corrective action.

The interview process was in 3 stages. The first interview was with a recruiter lasted for 15-20 mins.
After a week, recruiter scheduled an interview with a director. The phone interview lasted for 30 mins. It was positive, good discussion.
I didn't hear anything back for 3-4 weeks, and then suddenly recruiter reached out saying they would like schedule another phone interview with a manager for 30 mins.
The phone interview went well again, the manager asked me more technical questions and for 10 mins, I was given a case study, which we were discussing from multiple angles. I was asking questions, providing my inputs etc. I felt it went great.
I was waiting for response from recruiter after this, never heard back. Not exactly sure, what are they looking for?

An Apple recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. The first call took place with the recruiter, a brief 15 min call to discuss my profile and the open position they wish to recruit for. After a week I got an email saying they would like to take the process forward and set up a 45 min phone interview with the hiring manager. Depending upon the outcome from the phone interview, next round would be onsite interview at Cupertino, CA.

Round 1. Several rounds with the team and the hiring manager over the phone. Nature of questions were technical and people skills. SOme were very difficult questions.
Round 2. In person full day interview with the extended team. No particular schedule. People get added and the coordinator keeps sending the email during the interview.
2 Days after the interview the recruiter sent an email saying that they are pursuing other candidates with a better match. No reason, no detailed communications. Reaching to the recruiter but no answer.
