I sent a resume and received an email within a week or so indicating that the next step was to complete a pre-employment assessment. The assessment included an aptitude test and a personality assessment and took about 90 minutes to complete. I received an email response a week later thanking me for taking the time to apply. They indicated that after thorough review of my application by the hiring team they had decided to move forward with another candidate.

    • After wasting my weekend working on the assessment, they e-mailed me back, said I'd done well and they'd contact me soon. About a week later they said they'd decided to go with someone else. Why not do a screening before making me take a 90 minute assessment then? It wasn't difficult, but it's time that I'll never get back that I could have spent applying for other companies.   Répondre à cette question

    I was asked questions regarding software solutions, process for implementation and my experience on the technical side. I was asked my salary expectation, said 75K and they said that was within their range. I was not offered a position.

    I went through the process of online tests, followed by a phone interview and another proctored test, concluding with an onsite interview with 2 different people. The interview process was pretty straightforward and mostly stuck to a script of general interview questions. One interviewer was more personable than the other but the overall vibe was good. I would have preferred to have more of a conversation than general question answering but it appeared that the two interviews were between "real" work and there wouldn't be time for that. The last part of the interview process was a discussion of benefits which seemed a bit premature given that the job was not even offered yet. Salary discussed was below industry standards and it appeared that there would be a lot of travel involved. This is a young company and as such I'm sure the interview process will mature with time.

    Applied online and received an email from HR with a link to an online pre-employment assessment. There were two parts: an apptitude test and a personality assessment. The entire assessment was pretty difficult and took approximately 90 minutes to complete. Followed up with a phone interview and subsequent in-person interview. The in-person was with several employees and had to take the pre-employment assessment again.

    The interview process was clearly articulated with expectations, timelines and contacts. The directions were very clear. Everyone was welcoming and friendly within the office. They followed it precisely and stayed in constant communication throughout.

    Contacted quickly (almost too quickly) after applying online. HR interview scheduled for a few days out. Interview schedule changed at the last minute, which is fine - life happens. When the rescheduled phone interview finally happened, the recruiter was late and clearly not engaged in the discussion - definitely just going through the motions.

    To be perfectly honest, the HR interview was so unprofessional that I had no interest in taking the process any further.

    Your recruitment methods set the tone - and Accruent is the most tone deaf company I’ve ever dealt with.

    • My HR interviewer had no interest in asking even a single behavioral question. Just checking off boxes on qualifications (and my experience checked nearly all). It was a very unprofessional experience.   Répondre à cette question

    This was the worst interview process I have ever witnessed in my life. First I submitted my resume. I was then contact via email; not even a phone call, to complete a 90 minute assessment. I do not mind taking assessments for jobs, but to take one without finding out more information about the job was strange. Then after I took the assessment I received another email; no phone call, indicating that they wanted me to do a phone interview. I had to coordinate the intervew via email with their hr/recruiting department. I had to be the one to organize and schedule my own interview. The phone interview was sad to say the least. No major "thinking" questions, nothing specific about project management, and the interviewer seemed to be totally disingenuous. Lucky enough for me, I received another email; no phone call, telling me that I was not selected to move on for the face to face interviews. God has a plan for all of us and Accruent was most definitely not a part of mine.
