TORLYS is currently hiring for the exciting role of Marketing & Creative Services Manager in Mississauga.
OVERVIEW
The Manager Marketing & Creative Services leads the strategy and development of marketing communications to ensure a consistent brand experience at all touch points/platforms tailored to all B2B/B2C channels in which TORLYS participates. This includes developing all content and messaging, coordinating efforts of team members and third-party vendors or service providers. The Manager, Marketing and Creative Services works collaboratively with Marketing and Sales leaders to create communication solutions which support strategic business and TORLYS market positioning (competitive differentiation) goals as directed by the VP, Marketing. The Manager, Marketing & Creative Services oversees, coaches, and mentors’ direct reports, contributes to the development and execution of promotions, programs, creative direction & organization of tradeshows, digital tools, and merchandising projects and/or strategies in conjunction with the VP, Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Programs & Promotions
- Works closely with VP, Marketing and other sales and marketing leaders to develop marketing initiatives to drive growth and align with overarching goals
- Works with internal and external partners on the creation and production of materials such as advertising, promotional materials and TORLYS website/social media to ensure they meet brand standards and messaging
- Oversees the communication to sales and customers of all marketing programs/promotions/digital initiatives for dealer, builder and commercial segments
- Lead on content development for multimedia such as videos, animations, infographics, blogs, advertorials and so on
- Works with the senior sales leadership on the development of trade rebate/support programs (PowerUp) and oversees execution and administration
- Responsible to ensure quality and consistency of branding for all materials; digital and traditional
Digital Marketing
- Planning, development and strategy of national digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, web site strategy and design, digital tools (e.g., visualizer), social media, mobile, and blog that align with overarching goals
- Develops and oversees execution of online marketing campaigns/plans for acquiring online customers and lead generation for dealers’ stores/appropriate dedicated channel sales teams
- Develops social media programs to drive brand advocacy and create awareness and recognition with (but not inclusive to) designers, property managers, builders, dealers and consumers.
- Develops, recommends, executes and analyzes paid social media campaigns
- Drives continuous enhancements of website and initiates new website features to improve user experience, ensuring that the websites’ look & feel, information architecture, product search capability, and content meet established standards and web best practices.
- Manages all web content updates including major product launches, new website pages etc.
- Owning and maintaining site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting, providing regular metrics reports. In depth knowledge of SEO and Google Ads programs.
- Develops and executes e-mail marketing calendar and campaign to diverse audiences.
- Owns and manages external digital vendor relationships and co-ordinates designs with agency partners; monitors timeline, budget and status of subprojects. Researches, recommends, and evaluates new digital partner opportunities in conjunction with the VP, Marketing.
- Monitors competitive and industry online marketing best practices and serves as a resource on these issues.
- Provides recommendations on digital strategies and identifies new ways to improve online experience and engagement.
Advertising & Public Relations
- Identifies, recommends and negotiates advertising buy with selected media, including trade outs; strong focus on digital media
- Works closely with the agency and internal creative teams to create advertising that bolsters TORLYS' brand
- Assists in the identification of PR opportunities and provides appropriate strategic advice
- Develops and directs production of all press releases and other materials targeted for external audiences
- Manages relationships with external agency partners, vendors and media
Brand Management
- Establish, implement and maintain corporate brand guidelines and processes to produce consistent, high-quality results. Manage TORLYS brand asset repository to ensure they are up to date, including room scenes and corporate templates.
- Review all creative materials with a detailed and strategic eye to ensure they are error-free, on-brand and align with the goals of projects. Create / update presentation and merchandising asset templates to promote brand continuity.
- Manage TORLYS' online reputation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Marketing Management related experience
- Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design or Business (Marketing)
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing strategies & tools, social media, google analytics, and paid digital
- Understanding of web development/creative design and various multimedia asset/content production
- Planning and project management experience and strong analytical skills required
- Outstanding communication skills with all levels and audiences
- Team player and mentor to reports and other marketing team members
- Excellent computer skills: Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media platforms
- Ability to write clearly and informatively to different audiences
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, ability to be decisive
- Adaptable and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects/associates in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the flooring industry is an asset
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
