    Avantages

    - Good salary - 1 hour lunch break - private health insurance

    Inconvénients

    - Lots of backstabbing and bitchiness. Trust no one! - They don't recognise what you good but always tell you what you do wrong - Almost impossible to get promoted. - End of the month is sacred and you have to stay till late if required (I have seen people staying till 10pm or 11pm). If you don't, you get bad looks and digs. They say that it is required that all staff give their best even though if this means not... having breaks. - They try to make that this job is your life by encouraging you to do overtime and sometimes not getting paid for it. - High turnover - Clueless management since they fired the most experienced staff - Don't get sick too often or they will use it to get you into trouble, they could even sack you! I had a mate who got her probation review brought forward because her mom died and she was absent for too long. They thought they would prove a point!!! - If you have problems with your work colleagues, your team leader won't do anything about it and will keep a record to prove you are a troublemaker and can't work cooperatively.

    Stop promoting friends and put remedies to bad behaviour and bulling please! No one should feel intimidated or scared to express how they feel. Praise more often and don't rub people's mistakes on their faces so much!

    good work schedule, some nice people

    Inconvénients

    poor management, unethical behaviors by management, nobody speaks up because they are afraid to lose their jobs. too many friends in mgmt, dishonest management

    Avantages

    Every day is different, the team really pull together to support one another. Get to learn about all sectors of the business as you are constantly liaising with them to solve blocks. Family feel across the Huntsman corporation. Even Jon Huntsman himself comes to visit and makes you feel valued and part of his own extended family. I am proud to work for Huntsman.

    Avantages

    Prides themselves on providing above average salaries and conditions for the region (north east of England) and opportunities for advancement.

    Inconvénients

    Below par training, over-worked staff members, micro-managing management, lack of constructive feedback and a somewhat backstabbing atmosphere. Trust no-one.

    Your priority should be your frontline teams and you need to be genuinely interested in supporting them. Please take time to really make sure that the training provided is adequate and that the people you hire to train and manage others are actually qualified in doing so. The market (which you're very concerned with) will actually be more amenable and patient with you, than if you rush this vital process. If your... staff suffers health problems due to stress, the solution is not to give them good benefits and health insurance alone, but to make sure that the working environment is as stress-free as possible. There is a comical emphasis on Health & Safety, but the fact that there isn't enough time for lunch or toilet breaks gets brushed to one side. Seriously question if the answer to a happy working environment really is done through KPIs. Dare to be different, because currently you're not - you're just boring corporate and not unique at all.

    Avantages

    It is a well known company in the field, and that's all.

    Inconvénients

    There is much back-stabbing or position fighting. The pay is below average minus not having a bonus structure. There is little opportunity for advancement. The environment is terrible, with managers that lack any experience in the field. Worse, human resources don't even protect employees from the misgivings in customer service. There is no one that will listen, so these terrible managers behave like queens.... I don't understand why anyone would work for Huntsman versus any other petrochemical company. But the biggest turn off is that Huntsman does not seem be interested in identifying and retaining the right talent.

    Competitive organizations don't pay bargain bin salaries if they want to retain quality employees. Focus more on long-term company goals and growth than playing children games to manage performance.
