    Avantages

They apparently do have hiring-side clients and will call you with opportunities. but...

    Inconvénients

I am a very senior designer in a field that is in demand. When I told them my rate, a rate I was currently making with a current client that I got through another recruiter than Creative Circle, Creative Circle was only willing to offer me 50% of that rate! When I asked how they could expect a person with such experience to accept that, the Creative Circle recruiter said to me "well you will be out of work soon [my contract was ending soon] so wouldn't you rather make something than nothing?" - I was disgusted and insulted. When I pointed out that I am running a business and that my rate is my rate and to accept anything lower would be detrimental to my business, the recruiter said "well I disagree and think you should take the offer". I laughed at them and wished them well.

Might be good for people hard up for work or just starting out but I would stay away from Creative Circle like a professional plague.

    Conseils à la direction

Treat your talent with respect and pay them market or higher rates otherwise close up shop and find a job yourself so you aren't mistreating people with your insane business model.

J'ai travaillé chez Creative Circle en contrat permanent (Moins d'un an)

    Avantages

Nice people to deal with at the start.
    Great location.

    Inconvénients

They push for freelance/contract work as that can get companies coming back.
They say they know a lot of companies that they can set you up with, but they don't.
They sell to employers freelance and contract and the benefits of it. It's killing the market for full time workers.

    Conseils à la direction

You need to stop pushing freelance or contract work.

    Avantages

The freelance jobs are with cool agencies. The duration of their freelance and contract gigs vary from days to weeks to months, even fulltime. Say no when you aren't interested and they will still consider you for all others. The recruiters are to the point, and great to deal with. They put personality and humour into it, while delivering all the details about a role. I've been working with them for many months.

    Inconvénients

They might tack on a larger markup than other agencies, but hey, they call me often with new opportunies that I wouldn't find on my own.

    Conseils à la direction

It would be nice if we could accumulate a paid day off or two, the more time we freelance through them.

Je travaille chez Creative Circle à temps partiel (Plus d'un an)

    Avantages

The freelance positions they locate are with professional agencies. This may lead to better things. They handle marketing, payment and overall communications well. They have found me more work in past year at a higher rate than I was able to myself, which is obviously a good thing.

    Inconvénients

Agencies see you as an expensive fix for a problem they are not staffed up for. This is because, as a client said to me, "CC adds a pretty good fee on top of your hourly rate". Be prepared to face pressure on this.

    Conseils à la direction

Adding some benefits to the employment contract would be nice and would win my loyalty for the long-term.

    Avantages

Lots of contacts and contracts if you are willing to feed these cats.

    Inconvénients

Pure rip off. Hire senior developers at junior salary. Not honest about the % they take. No technical knowledge. Unethical.

    Conseils à la direction

You can only scam so many people before it comes back to bite you.

Je travaille chez Creative Circle à plein temps (Plus de 8 ans)

    Avantages

Some of the best people I know work here. Overall every recruiter and sales person cares deeply about doing what's best for our clients and candidates. I've been here over 8 years and consider myself a "lifer". We offer great benefits and "perks" that sometimes go unnoticed but compared to all my previous jobs CC is heads and shoulders above the rest!

    Inconvénients

We're developing a lot of new offerings and that comes with some growing pains along the way.

    Avantages

*Amazing leadership and management, very flat organization, super open and everyone on the leadership team are genuine people that are approachable.
    *Great perks, benefits, compensation.
*Great work life balance and respectful to
*Company / office culture: we work hard to service clients and candidates, but laugh and giggle A LOT! A dream culture, with the perfect balance of fun and focus. Tons of celebration and recognition. Lots of support.
*Great training resources, very intentional training in the first 6 months
*Freedom to do my own work, I'm not micromanaged at all

    Inconvénients

*Not a lot of remote work options yet, but in the works to explore this

    Conseils à la direction

Keep doing what you're doing! And thank you!

    Avantages

Very quick at responding to jobs that fit your desired role and coordinating rates and interviews with clients.

    Inconvénients

Senior Level & Leadership roles aren't communicated well. The salaries say DOE so it's difficult to know what jobs are at your experience level without actually attending an interview.

    Conseils à la direction

If the salary is DOE, then put how many years or what level (mid, senior, leadership) of experience is required.

    Avantages

We have a driven team and it's a fun environment. They have a great training program with ongoing education and mentorship, and the salary potential is awesome- I'd never be able to have my current salary without working insane hours somewhere else. When you're on PTO you get to truly unplug, no working on vacation necessary.

    Inconvénients

All work is done in the office, lack of flexibility can be challenging.

    Conseils à la direction

Add options for flexible remote-in options for employees.
