    Avantages

Career of Workday Consultant opens up lots of doors and opportunities, it is an amazing experience, but I would pick any other company to work for if I were you. The management constantly asks employees to post positive reviews here, so don't believe all the positive reviews you see here.

    Inconvénients

My time at Collaborative was pure hell. During the times when things were good, no one cared about my career growth as long as I did my job. The managers don't have time for you. During times when I actually needed something, all hell would break loose. Human Resources called me needy because they don't care about the people at all.I went to them regarding my concerns and was sent away in a rude manner. One time when I asked them on the phone to explain me the reason for their random unnecessary decision ( my work from home ability was suddenly taken away without any explanation or reason and I was forced to commute to work 2 hours each way), they yelled at me and threatened to fire me if I don't comply, and then lied and told the upper management that I was rude, so I was given a written warning which I was forced to sign, unless I wanted to lose my job. Later on I found out that they needed to fill their empty office with people, because no one ever comes in, so they made me one of the scapegoats. Open Door Policy doesn't get practiced, if you ask to talk to the CEO, you are told "not to bother him, because he has more important things to do than talk to his employees". That sentence pretty much summarizes the open door policy that CS practices. Additionally, the unlimited PTO policy is a big scam. I took a total of 15 business days off for the whole year, including sick days, which is pretty standard, and during my annual review I was told that I won't get my pay raise because I took too many days off and that I should be ashamed of that. Two weeks of that PTO was agreed upon during my interview process and they still tried to take it away from me. The company plays favorites, and either ignores or punishes the others. I was told numerous times that I am being unprofessional for questioning authority, while I personally heard a manager use 1:1 time to talk about personal life, political views and tell stories of how she used to get high in college. The turnover rate in this company is ridiculously high and for obvious reasons. Unless you are fresh out of college, have no family and have no better options, do not work for CS, because there is only so many miserable 60+ workweeks one can take...Also, compensation is not worth it either, they are one of the lowest in the industry.

    Avantages

Collaborative has embedded itself in the Workday ecosystem with an outstanding reputation for excellence. It has strong values and ethics, and great culture that strives to support everyone in their respective roles. The company provides many opportunities for engagement, development, personal pursuit, and work/life balance. This balance is supported with a strong virtual work program, where even though employees may be out of sight, they are never out of mind due to a diverse array of technology communication options, and are continuously engaged in their teams. The opportunities for growth are abundant and encouraged, allowing for both the ability to specialize and have a broad range of experience. This is applicable to both seasoned and budding consultants. The opportunity to travel is reasonable, but follows the individual project so it will not be consistent throughout its lifecycle. Compensation and benefits are fair and generous.

    Inconvénients

While not necessarily a con, projects and roles are very diverse and so work/life balance is really in the hands of each inidividual project, so it may not be consistent.

    Avantages

Collaborative Solutions takes pride in taking care of each employee first and foremost so they can provide top notch service to our clients. We are held at high standards but we are given what we need in order to excel at our jobs. The executive team understands that each employee may have slightly different needs and will ensure that employees have the flexibility they need in order to be happy not just in their jobs but lives as well.

    Inconvénients

Collaborative Solutions employees have the option to work remote so communication could potentially be a barrier if you do not put in the effort. If you think you are not talking to your manager or team members enough do not be hesitant to reach out to them.
