We get a fairly good yearly balance to work with in terms of our health benefits. The thing that is not ideal is that vacation time is to be taken separately. They do not like when you try and take all your vacation at once.
Very basic package, I would say as the company grows this should be reviewed.

Work from home, flex hours are the best things about working here. Medical coverage is good for a smaller company with no doctor's note required for chiro, physio and massage. LTD included but no STD. $5000 per year on education, but any professional fees eats into this amount. For some positions, cellphones and plans are covered but they are very strict on data usage. Free breakfast in the kitchen which is basically breads, bagels, spreads, coffee, espresso, cereals, milk and a very limited amount of cookies, fresh fruits and cut vegetables.
Minimum, but enough for young or single people.

Employer-funded life insurance is very low. Most reputable employers its 3-4x your base salary. Vena contributes a fraction of your base salary. Think of your consultants and sales people who fly every week, putting themselves in harms way. There's no pension In lieu of a pension, no group RSP with employer matching No employee stock purchase program, some employees have stock, but they are the ones with longer tenure.
