Reasonable vacation policy. More restrictive recently.
Average and same as expected as the bare minimum.
Its nice to have paid vacation days, starting at 2 weeks a year for 2 years, then increasing to 3 weeks, and adding a day per year, every 2 years worked after that. There are opportunities to work overtime but keep the hours to be used in-lieu for other days off, or to cover appointments etc. 10 paid sick days for personal illness 5 paid days for personal emergency.
Your normally get 2 weeks & 5 days off , you receive a pop up on your screen advising you that you have 10 mins to choose your vacation however you only get whats left if you're the last one.
Vacation starts at 2 weeks for new hire and is pro rated per month. Getting time off is another thing, because many people would constantly not get any vacation approved because of limited staffing and people on disability or sick leave. So useless to have vacation if you can't take the time off
You earn the vacation days every month
Standard vacation offerings - 3 weeks (for Finance staff at least) unless you negotiate more. At Director or 7 (?) years you hit 4 weeks.
Starting off they have very low number of days off, but they have a lot of personal and sicks days.
Sick days are lumped with vacation. I'd rather have sick days unpaid so I can still take a vacation!
I had a great experience with the company. 10+leaders in 12+ years of employment. Some leaders needed more training on people management. 50% of my leadership were neutral and knew their job well and provided great support.
