Needs to be more competitive
Great package health dental vision also had things like mental health and massages included. Not long wait to get
Good health insurance (like any other company) Nothing else
Good health insurance, covers dental and medical, snacks on friday, if you work at night or weekends you will have an incentive of $0.50 hour. The christmas party is fun and in a chic place
Comprehensive package with minimum 80% coverage on dental and extended health care. The only down-side is there is a long-term disability coverage that has been abused by some and led to higher costs for employees. I know that our HR team has worked hard to negotiate those costs down but I would prefer to remove the long-term disability coverage and pay less. However, to counteract the increase in cost and decrease in coverage (we used to have 100% coverage on things like massage, acupuncture, etc.) provide a $250 invidual/$500 family healthcare spending account, Some other things I think would really make Pivotal stand out: A real gym membership coverage - not a discount at a specific gym. Not everyone wants to be limited to a gym that may not be convenient or is just really expensive to begin with. I prefer the option to select my own gym and have the company pay a portion of the cost. (surely there's a tax break in there somewhere?) Childcare option/support: it's tough for parents when they have to make alternate arrangements or in emergencies, and it hurts the business when people have to take time off. A win-win would be to have a childcare provider/coverage as an additional benefit for employees who have young children.
