Benefits program at Microsoft is excellent. RRSP matching up to 7.5% of salary, competitive benefits with different levels of coverage that the employee gets to choose from, Stat holidays off, no sick day policy, 3 weeks vacation to start, 4 weeks after 7 years of employment. Stock purchase plan in place.
I was a contract worker so my benefits came from my employment agency. Microsoft has a great benefit package for FTE's
has easily the best work environment in terms of people and the design of the HQ in Mississauga, however, being in Mississauga also places it away from a lot of things so there isn't any life around the office. Really nice project to work on, can really make an impact if you put your back into it Would be nice if they offered free lunch, although there is free sodas and snacks
Health benefits, including the mental health assistance. The worst is as most North American companies - vacation. You max at 25 days and everyone starts with 15. You get 5 more days every 5 years - used to be 8 years until recently.
You pay for your own benefits as a contractor.
Part time workers got the same benefits as FT although it takes a bit more time to kick in.
Best: extended health/dental insurance, discounts on Microsoft products, discounted stock purchase Worst: only 3 weeks off a year until seniority
Company's compensation package is not the best even in a market like Vancouver. Amazon and some startups have more attractive packages.
100% health insurance, college reimbursement, life insurance etc
Benefits package are good and includes everything based on the plan you select. They also have good RRSP plans.
