    « The free lunch and snacks comes out of a vending machine and there are no viable Health Options. I am not a health nut I mean respect for other people I would have at least add some healthy alternatives for people instead of Doritos. »

No Benefits package for seasonal (casual) employees

That is true. Once an employee has been with us for greater than one season, they are eligible for benefits if they regularly work a minimum number of hours a regular basis. We do appreciate your comments and feedback.

There is no benefit for casual positions, it takes a year to become permanent and take benefit but you work a year full time with no benefit

Yes, we have a waiting period for casual employees (which is 9 months if they work a minimum number of hours within that time). We do this because we have a seasonal business and don't always know who is going to remain with us at the end of the season. When employees do stay with us for greater than one season, they are then eligible for benefits. Hopefully that helps explains why there is a waiting period. We appreciate and value your feedback!

Thanks for your review. Yes, it is true that our benefits are standard. We have structured it to take care of the majority of health care related expenses.

Beat thing was thatbypu can gwt a lot of hours during busy season. Worst part , they will fire you if busibess is slow.

Thank you for your feedback. We do acknowledge that there are periods of time where we were under-resourced and over-resourced, but unfortunately, that is the project nature of our business, although we do endeavour to mitigate this fluctuation as much as we can.

Pretty good benefits package, if you are lucky enough to get full time. Not flexible but covers the basics.

To keep our benefits program sustainable, we aim to position our benefits program at the midpoint of the market and offer it to full-time employees. We have recently revised our full-time eligibility process to make it more achievable for more employees. Thank you for your feedback.

Benefits package on par with expected. There are other perks such as lunches and team building activities which are valuable and therefore, a benefit.

Benefits are average for BC. After a year at ALS, your benefits kick in. Including matching contribution to RRSP (staring at 2%).

That is true, ALS offers a standard extended health benefits package, which is available after 9 months of continuous full-time employment. We also offer Short Term & Long Term Disability income replacement benefits. Our RRSP matching starts at 2% and goes up to 4% based on length of service.
